Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Lindsay Arnold announced that she is pregnant with her second baby with husband Sam Cusick. Lindsay and Sam got married in 2015. She gave birth to their daughter, Sage Jill Cusick, on November 2, 2020. In 2013, Lindsay became a professional dancer in DWTS season 16. She later won DWTS season 25 with her partner Jordan Fisher. Lindsay is currently sitting out DWTS season 31 because she wants to focus on her family.
In an Instagram post, Lindsay announced her pregnancy with a series of sweet photographs of her, Sam, and Sage. In one picture, Sage kissed the sonogram picture of her sibling. Lindsay captioned the photos, “Baby #2 coming May 2023. We are beyond grateful and feel so blessed to be adding a new addition to our family and Sage cannot wait to be a big sister.” This happy news comes after Lindsay learned in August that she had a false positive pregnancy test, a sad moment which she shared in a TikTok video.

DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Will Find Out Baby’s Sex Soon
In an interview with E! News, the DWTS pro admitted, “Honestly, it still feels a little bit surreal. It’s just kind of crazy, but we are so, so happy.” She gushed that when she found out about the baby, “It was just the best feeling.” Lindsay shared that she and Sam “have been trying for a while now. And it’s been something that we’ve known we’ve wanted, so it was just such a huge blessing. We’re excited to expand our family.” Lindsay confessed that she was “very nervous” and “cautiously optimistic, but I also had a really peaceful, content feeling about it. I felt like it was right. I felt like it was our time.” As for the baby’s sex, Lindsay said that she was “one million percent convinced” that her first baby would be a boy, and she was wrong. She shared, “Now I just feel like I can’t even trust my intuition. I’ll find out soon.” Fans who are missing Lindsay’s presence on DWTS will be happy to know that she stated she will “never say no” to the reality competition series because she loves it. She shared that it is part of what made her who she is, and “that door will never be closed.” She said that DWTS will always be family to her, and she will see what happens in the future.
Lindsay is a very hands-on mom who has documented little Sage’s life and shared it with her social media followers. Her fellow DWTS professional dancers, including Witney Carson, Peta Murgatroyd, Daniella Karagach, Sharna Burgess, Alan Bersten, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, and Gleb Savchenko, all wished her well in the comments section of her post, proving that they are like family to her. Lindsay always puts her own family first, so fans might not see her on DWTS for some time after she gives birth to her baby.
DWTS season 31 has been wonderful so far, but fans are missing Lindsay. Now they know another happy reason why she decided to take a break from the show. Perhaps she will return in the future, especially since she feels so close to the people there and considers them a second family. Fans wish Lindsay good health and happiness as she prepares to welcome her second child into the world to join her, Sam, and Sage.
