“He’ll Always Be In The Rock’s Shadow”: Dwayne Johnson’s $225 Million Worth Hollywood Rival Is Reportedly Insecure About His Success

Dwayne Johnson has spent well over a decade in Hollywood as a top star. During this time, he has seen great success and made a good number of friends along the way.

His friendship with Kevin Hart, Emily Blunt, and Gal Gadot is for all to see. However, at the same time, The Rock’s relationship with one of his popular co-stars has turned sour as the years have gone by.

When DJ signed up for the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, fans were excited to see him and popular action hero Vin Diesel on the big screen. The pair took the franchise to new heights and appeared good friends off-screen.

But it all began going downhill after a few years and both mega stars have been at odds since. Recently, it emerged that Vin Diesel wasn’t too happy about The Rock’s growing success and fame at the box office.

Dwayne Johnson first appeared in the Fast and Furious franchise in 2011 in Fast 5. He continued his run with the hit franchise for a few more years before dropping off. One of the reasons for the former WWE Champion’s decision to move away from the F&F franchise was the breakdown of his friendship with Vin Diesel.

In 2016, The Rock referred to some of his male co-stars as “candy a***es”. Since then Diesel and DJ haven’t seen eye to eye. Although their friendship has been on again and off again for some time now, things did escalate after Diesel made a public appeal to the WWE star to return to the franchise, citing his family’s closeness with the star.

In response, DJ accused Diesel of ‘manipulation‘ after clarifying that he won’t be back.

Now a recent report indicates that the $225 million worth Diesel is allegedly jealous of the success of The Rock’s Black Adam. An insider told Radar “Vin tries so hard to be the man that other men want to be and women want to be with, but he’ll always be in The Rock’s shadow.” Further, they added, “His ego is extremely fragile and he can’t shake the feeling that Dwayne’s the better man.”

Moreover, they said that the beef is almost one-sided with Diesel, becoming obsessed with The Rock. They revealed, “The sad thing is this feud isn’t about two guys. It’s mostly a one-sided thing, and it’s all on Win, who’s become obsessed with Dwayne.”

It seems the saga between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson keeps dragging and may be becoming more one-sided. After these reports, it is likely that fans won’t see the two mega stars share the screen anytime soon.
