I remember thinking to myself, ‘I think people think I’m 40 years old.’ It somehow stopped being something that was desirable and something that I was fighting against,” the actress revealed.
Ultimately, Johansson was able to change the course of her career. Over the past years, the actress has played many different characters in which she’s able to showcase her acting abilities over her physical appearance. This includes her roles in Noah Baumbach’s film Marriage Story and Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit, which helped her win her first two Academy Award nominations, for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.
