Two Best Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies; Sylvester Stallone’s Viewpoint

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger the two were action movie rivals during their heyday, but here are Arnie’s personal favorite films of the former. But which Arnold Schwarzenegger movies do Sylvester Stallone like best? For a time in the 80s and 90s, Stallone and Schwarzenegger were two of the world’s greatest movie stars. Stallone had films about Rambo, Rocky and Cobra, while Arnold had films like Terminator, Commando and Predator. The two openly admitted that they were rivals in their acting heyday, and at the height of their feud, Arnold tricked Stallone into signing

Stop! Or My Mom With Shoot, knowing it’s going to be the bomb. But the tastes of the public were changing, the box office receipts of the proposals of Stallone and Schwarzenegger began to decline. But this eventually led to them becoming good friends in real life, and they later worked together on The Expendables and 2013’s Escape Plan. Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger have some great films, and now they both express admiration for each other’s work.

Stallone’s Favorite Arnold Movies Explained
During an interview with PlanetSLY in May 2022, Stallone talked about two of his favorite films with Arnold Schwarzenegger, neither of which are big surprises.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day was the highly anticipated sequel to James Cameron’s breakout hit. The original Terminator undoubtedly made Schwarzenegger a big movie star, and the sequel took the bold step of turning its main character from villain to hero. And the result is an iconic sci-fi action movie that’s filled with amazing sets and special effects. “Terminator 2” also featured a great game and sincere emotions. While Stallone didn’t go into details about why he liked Terminator 2, he probably admits – like many others now – that the film and its success represent Arnold at the absolute peak of his fame.

True Lies (1994)
“True Lies” became one of the biggest hit pieces. In the film, Arnold plays a super agent who is also a family man, but his investigation separates his two worlds from collapsing. True Lies is still a very interesting (though halted) action comedy.

Sylvester Stallone loves him not only because of the action, but because Arnie has shown his talents. The actor stated, “True Lies was very, very good because he brought it all together. The wit, the romantic aspect, the charm, and then great action with a great director, so it worked.”

The Ultimate List of the Best Action Movie Hero Names

Arnold Schwarzenegger (aka “Arnie”, “The Austrian Oak”, or “The Govenator”) is an ultimate action movie legend of the first class. Both a former Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia champion bodybuilder and former Governor of California, Arnold has risen to the highest levels of worldly success.

Born in Thal, Styria, Austria, Arnold made his breakthrough into Hollywood action movies originally in sword-and-sorcery with Conan the Barbarian and in sci-fi with The Terminator, early roles which let him hide his thick accent and lack of American acting experience.

However, Arnold quickly found his niche and would go on to helm some of the most critically and commercially successful action movie blockbusters of all time. Including Terminator 2: Judgement Day and the Terminator Series, Commando, Predator, Total Recall and True Lies to name a few. While he has eased up in later years to pursue public office, his legacy remains Arnold strong!
