Apart from being one of the top superstars in Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson also has an impressive physique. However, he was instructed not to have a physique like that as well.

In an interview with Men’s Health, Johnson opened up about several things. He revealed why he will never be like some other top Hollywood stars.

During the interview, The Rock revealed that during his early days as an actor; he had to work based on the ideologies of some of the elite in the industry.

And was often compared to other established stars in the industry. The 50-year-old claimed that he was often asked not to do various things.

He said, “You can’t call yourself the Rock. You can’t talk about pro wrestling. You can’t be this big, you can’t work out as much.”

And, was often asked to change his diet, and lose weight, to become like the other Hollywood stars, George Clooney, Will Smith, and Johnny Depp.

The Rock stated, “If you want to be like Will Smith, Johnny Depp, and George Clooney, who were the stars at that time, this is how you have to be.”

However, The Rock tried those things for a while, before giving up. He then finally became like himself and created his own identity.

Speaking, he said, “Well, I tried that on for a few years, and then finally I said, ‘Man, f*ck this. I can’t be like that, I’m not those guys.

I could never be those guys, I’m not in a box. Don’t tell me how to be. I’m going to be myself.” However, after years of hard work, The Rock has his own identity today and is widely known for it.

Dwayne Johnson opens up on his diet

With the physique that Dwayne Johnson has, a proper strict diet and a rigorous training routine are a must. With sheer determination and hard work, Johnson has carved his body into what is today. In the same interview as above, he opened up about his diet.

The Rock claimed to eat clean. However, he claimed to follow a consistent, boring, and extremely disciplined diet. The Brahma Bull’s breakfast consists of eggs, bison meat, oatmeal, and fruits.

For lunch, he has chicken breast, rice, and vegetables. For dinner, he has fish or chicken along with sweet potatoes. However, it is his own hard work that has developed him into what he is today.
