Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Lindsay Arnold is ready to return to the cast after becoming a first-time mom, and she has every intention of returning in an effort to teach her daughter the importance of chasing dreams in life. Lindsay competed in nine seasons of the show and has been a part of the Dancing With The Stars tour.
Dancing With The Star’s Lindsay took off the most recent season of the show because she was getting ready to give birth. She and her husband, Samuel Lightner Cusick, welcomed their first daughter into the world in early November, naming her Sage Jill Cusick. Since then, Lindsay has been taking the time to soak up every moment and new experience of being a first-time mom. Sage is now five months old and gaining a personality of her own.

Although there are still plenty of firsts to come for the family of three, Lindsay is ready to return to the ballroom for another season of Dancing With The Stars. In an interview with E!, Lindsay admitted that she intends to return to the show in the near future as long as she is asked to return. While some parents head back to work to give themselves something to do, Lindsay, who has already returned to her fit physique following the birth of her daughter, has bigger intentions. The Dancing With The Stars dancer explained, “If I’m passionate about something, then it’s important for me to do that, not just for myself but for Sage as well.” Lindsay continued on to share that she wants to teach Sage to follow her dreams in life. She hopes that one day her daughter can look back and acknowledge the hard work Lindsay puts in day in and day out, saying, “Wow, my mom did that while she was raising me.”
Dancing With the Star’s Lindsay wants her daughter to know the importance of having a passion in life, whatever that may be for her. She herself has things that she loves doing, which she actively makes an effort to find time for. Although she has not been dancing, Lindsay has been keeping busy while at home with Sage. She recently partnered with Ivy City Co. for a Mother’s Day collection, which was officially released on April 29 and includes three mother/daughter matching outfits. Lindsay has also found herself in the world of Instagram influencers, often teaming up with different brands. In fact, she has one of the highest social media followings amongst all of the Dancing With The Stars professional dancers.
While an official return date has yet to be announced for the next season of Dancing With The Stars, it is assumed that the dancing competition will return sometime in the fall. Like fans, Lindsay is still unsure if she will be offered a spot back on the show; however, if they do ask her to return, Lindsay has her dancing shoes ready to go.
