Sadly, for them, they will have to wait until 2024 to see her enter the John Wick universe.
The fans’ anticipation for the spin-off is quite understandable, as de Armas has become one of Hollywood’s most coveted talents in the last few years. From her breakout roles to her most recent appearances, she has established herself as one of the most captivating and talented actresses of her generation.
Born and raised in Cuba, Ana de Armas began her acting career at a young age, eventually making her mark in the Spanish film industry as part of the popular drama El Internado. The film follows the lives of these Cuban spies who are infiltrating anti-Castroist organizations in the 1990s. The film follows a mercenary (Ryan Gosling) hired by the CIA who accidentally discovers some of their darkest secrets, making him the target of a deadly man hunt. In a very specific Bond film, which is at times reflective and nuanced, de Armas provided a thrilling change of pace.

Of all the sequels, remakes, and reboots of legendary sci-fi films and franchises, none has achieved its own sense of individuality as Blade Runner 2049. This sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1983 classic is set 30 years later, as a new Blade Runner, K (Ryan Gosling), discovers a secret that could shatter society forever, which leads him to find Rick Deckard, who has been missing for 30 years.
