Dakota Johnson’s Most Enviable Street Style Looks

Dakota Johnson has stepped into all kinds of roles, from 50 Shades of Grey’s Anastasia Steele to Anne Elliot in the 2022 adaptation of Jane Austen’s Persuasion. She’s even making her superhero debut in Marvel’s upcoming Madame Web. Off-screen, Johnson has a clear sense of who she is outside her fictional personas, and it shows through her wardrobe.
On the red carpet, the beloved actress is pure elegance. No matter if she’s wearing a gown or suit, her sophistication is palpable. Dakota Johnson’s street style is no less impressive. (She is a face of Gucci, after all). Below, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Dakota Johnson street-style moments, and are thrilled to report that a handful of the actress’s looks can be easily copied.

Quiet Luxury with a Twist
One of Johnson’s most recent street style looks is a slightly colorful interpretation of the “Quiet Luxury” trend. She pairs brown slacks with a pale pink button-down and practical black flats, and accessorizes with a black Chanel crossbody bag and sunglasses.

Party Pants and a Tee
Something we noticed from studying Johnson’s off-duty looks is that this woman loves a checkered moment. For this particular street-style look, the actress opted for checkered bottoms paired with a white T-shirt and loafers to ensure the spotlight stayed on her fantastic pants.

Classic Black & White
Some celeb street-style looks don’t feel particularly wearable outside the 90210 zip code. This is not one of them. All you need is a pair of high-waisted trousers, a cropped tank top, and a matching sweater to master Johnson’s aesthetic. It’s cool, comfortable, and can be worn year-round with a simple swap (or elimination) of outerwear.

Easy Elegance
Blazer dresses are equal parts sophisticated and sexy. Add a pair of pointed-toe pumps, hoop earrings, a chainlink shoulder bag, and a sleek top knot and you can channel Johnson’s particular brand of easy elegance, too.
Better Basics
White T-shirts and blue jeans go together like peanut butter and jelly, but the combo on its own could sometimes use a little oomph. To elevate the otherwise lax aesthetic, Johnson slips into a pair of loafers and adds a burnt brown colored trench coat as a top layer. But she still wants the look to be casual, so she finishes off with a baseball cap, tinted sunglasses, and a red shoulder bag to offset the look from feeling overly upscale.
A Three-Piece Suit
Johnson doesn’t subscribe to the idea that a daytime look can’t be both sharp and relaxed, and this suit is the perfect example. We love how each piece could stand on its own, but comes together to make a seamless outfit fit for a business meeting or brunch.
A Graceful Gown
All eyes were on Johnson in this monochromatic outfit on a night out in Manhattan. Though her ensemble looks seamless from her heels to her dress, the actress does opt for a statement-making handbag, and matches the purse to her moody manicure.
Professional Chic
There’s a lot to love about Johnson’s skirt suit set. It’s professional, yet playful, and serious, with a hint of sexy, thanks to the back slit in the midi skirt and corset-like cut of the cropped blazer.
Cozy On-the-Go
What do activities like running errands, catching a flight, and grabbing a coffee all have in common? They require comfy clothes. This Dakota Johnson street style moment is the ultimate on-the-go outfit inspiration. Between the cropped leggings, quarter-zip, and sneakers, this look is as cozy as it is easy to put together in a pinch.
A Throwback Fit
Grab the boombox, this looks screams 1990s. From the black-and-red checkered pants to the oversized red sweater over a white T-shirt, Johnson makes grunge look great. It’s giving alternative punk meets glam, with her genius addition of chandelier earrings.
Elevated Simplicity
Last but not least is another street-style look we guarantee you can throw together with pieces you already own. Swapping out a white tee for a silky cami and jeans combo, Johnson dresses up the simple look with strappy wedge sandals and an oversized burgundy clutch.

‘I am officially off the market’: When Margot Robbie revealed she made the ‘conscious’ decision of not dating actors

Margot Robbie revealed her decision to not date actors because of the media scrutiny that came with a public relationship of two high-profile actors
Back in 2015, A-lister Margot Robbie made a declaration that she would not be dating any actors. The actress may have alluded to her fiance Tom Ackerley, who she married the following year in 2016. In an exclusive interview with Marie Claire, she revealed that being in a relationship as an actor herself came with its own set of challenges. She believed that dating someone who was popular would add on to the media scrutiny.

Margot Robbie opened up on why she made a conscious decision to not date actorsTalking to Marie Claire, she claimed, “I am officially off the market.” She then shared the reasoning behind her decision and added, “I made a conscious decision not to date actors.” She continued to explain, “But not because I hate actors. That’s a nasty generalization to make, and that’s not the case. People take such an interest in your love life when you have a profile, it puts a lot of stress on a relationship.”
The Barbie actress continued, “So two people with profiles, I figure it’s just double the amount of scrutiny, and I’d like to avoid that at all costs.” This came after reports of her locking lips with Tarzan co-star Alexander Skarsgard started making rounds. It was reported that she was caught kissing the actor during the Sundance Film Festival.

Margot Robbie revealed she opted for a minimal lifestyle even after becoming an actorIn the interview, Robbie also opened up about how she was adapting to fame. She shared, “I have a normal 24-year-old life. If I were a waitress, I’d probably have the exact same lifestyle. I’d go to the same clubs I go to already, live in the same house with the same housemates, hang out with the same people.”
However, Margot Robbie tied the knot with Tom Ackerley who is an English producer and actor. The duo met on the sets of 2013 movie Suite Francaise where Tom was working as an assistant director. Post marriage, both of them launched their production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

‘Rocky’ Was Quite Different In His Original Screenplay, Sylvester Stallone Claims

Sylvester Stallone took his friend’s advice on a rewrite of the original screenplay to Rocky. A few tweaks later, he was on his way to major success.
In the new Netflix documentary Sly, Stallone discussed how he initially conceived of the project, which had a much harder edge. In the early version, Rocky was depicted as a “thuggish” character, inspired by Martin Scorsese’s crime drama, Mean Streets.

But Stallone’s perspective changed when a friend read the script and thought the boxer was too cruel for audiences to actually care about him.
Stallone recalled her crying.

“She goes, ‘I hate Rocky. I hate him. He’s cruel. He hits people. He beats them up.’”
Stallone took it to heart, and asked what he could do to soften the character.

“I said, ‘what if you stop short of it?’ Like, maybe he almost did. He could have, that’s his job, but he doesn’t?’ ‘That’d be nice,’” he added. “I said, ‘What if he had a girlfriend or something?’ ‘Yeah, that’s nice.’ So I go back, start writing that: ‘Girlfriend. Nice.’”
$117 million in box office later, a franchise was born.

Stallone also revealed that actor Dolph Lundgren sent him to the hospital during one fight scene in Rocky IV.
“Dolph Lundgren… he pulverized me,” Stallone says in the documentary. “Later that night, my heart started to swell—which happens when the heart hits the chest—and then my blood pressure went up to 260, and they thought I was going to be talking to angels. Next thing I know, I’m in intensive care, where I’m surrounded by nuns, and I thought, ‘OK, that’s curtains.’”
Stallone was in the hospital for nine days following the incident, praying for “one more round.”
“For the first minute of the fight, it is going to be a free-for-all,” Stallone told Lundgren. The Swedish actor joked in a separate interview that all he did was “obey orders,” explaining, “[Stallone] was the boss. I did what he told me.”
Doctors allegedly told Stallone that he received a blow to the ribs that made his heart rattle around in his ribcage, a condition typically seen in head-on collisions. “I did hit a bus, of sorts,” Stallone joked.
